Which Tripod is right for me
From time to time we get the question which tripod works best for my needs. Below we will put some basic information of what application works best for our tripods we offer. As this is not the total complete best use and application guide please feel free to give us a call if you have any further questions and we can best tailor fit your tripod to your needs and application
Prs competition / Predator hunting where you will not be rucking large lengths of time. As the QDT is our most stable platform it is 39" collapased so it is rather long when collapsed. This tripod offer ratcheting adjustment tabs for the legs aluminum twist collars that are 1/4 turn twist for fast adjustment as well as spikes stored inside of the rubber foot inverted. The QDT works with any insertable 75mm base or leveling head. If you will be running and anvil the anvil 30 conversion bowl is recommended for this model.

This tripod offer ratcheting adjustment tabs for the legs aluminum twist collars that are 1/4 turn twist for fast adjustment as well as spikes stored inside of the rubber foot inverted. A great well rounded tripod for packing in or moving in and out of buildings or long rucks. This tripod can accept any 75mm insertable base as well as any screw on head. If you are running and anvil 30 the conversion bowl is recommended for this tripod.

NO NAME V2
Competition Shooting/ Predator hunting / MIL /LEO. The No Name V2 features the same great features as the Recon V2 but offering one more leg section creating a smaller more compact platform. This tripod is easily packable a great option for those looking to have a shorter more collapsed tripod and dont mind carrying a little more weight than the kit design. The No Name V2 features the smaller more compact base making this tripod more compact in overall diameter,
Competition Shooting / Predator hunting / Back woods Back country hunting. This tripod offers a light weight compact set up. One of our smallest tripods with a full standing height for shooting off of at 65.5 inches andt 21.5 collapsed. This tripod offer ratcheting adjustment tabs for the legs aluminum twist collars that are 1/4 turn twist for fast adjustment as well as spikes stored inside of the rubber foot inverted. This tripod is the best tripod for carrying in the mountains as it offers a wide array of tasks it can fulfill.
The Kit V2 has all the great features of. the kit but the ability to use a center column or be ran into a kit configuration with a flat bowl. As well as having the center column you will have 3 options for configuration. The center column consists of. 2 piece design. Allowing the user to run a 8 or 6 inch or a combined 14 inch center column. Truly a versatile tripod.
Back Woods Back Country hunting and glassing. This tripod comes with a intergrated center column which cannot be removed. This is the smallest lightest tripod we offer. This tripod can be used for all heights glassing and shooting application
BALLHEAD OR LEVELING
Ballheads- We sell a couple different ballhead options
44MM- Lightweight hunting rifles / Glassing ( Under 15lbs)
55MM Dual Tension -Best suited for heavier rifles or smoother glassing. Offers a Fine and Coarse adjustment to really fine tune your ballhead to your needs. Will accept any standard arca rail
55MM Dual Tension Area 419- Best suited for heavier rifles or smoother glassing. Offers a Fine and Coarse adjustment to really fine tune your ballhead to your needs. Arcalock clamp on top to elevate rifles sliding back and forth under recoil when ran in conjunction with ARCALOCK rail. Will also work with standard arca rails when pins are pulled out of the clamp
Leveling Heads- Best suited for flatter terrain or less vertical articulation. Lower center of gravity and less moving parts making them a little more stable for shooting purposes.
HOW DO I MOUNT MY RIFLE
Mounting your rifle now and days is pretty simple
For rifles with MLOK we offer a MLOK ARCA RAIL (choose MLOK Option). This will simply attach to the bottom of the rifle and mount to any ballhead or leveling head offer
Tradational rifles you can either install a ARCA RAIL. You will drill two holes into the stock near the magwell recess the t nuts into the barrel channel.
AR15/ Full length Pic Rails
for full length pic rails you can purchase the PIC/ARCA ADAPTER
If you do not wish to drill holes in your rifle you can use a Triclawps SOLO to use all rifles. ( We include a Arca Swiss plate free of charge.
For users who have a saddle you will need to mount a TVSG Arca Swiss plate to your saddle. Most saddles will have a 3/8 as well as a 1/4 inch hole. Please include in your order notes when ordering the plates you will need a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter for a saddle.
HOW TO MOUNT SPOTTERS OR BINOS
Spotting Scopes - For spotting scopes there is typically a 3/8 or 1/4 inch hole on the bottom of the spotter. We sell 1/4 " ARCA PLATES which will screw into the bottom of your spotter. If you only have 3/8 on the bottom of your spotter please notate that within your order notes and we will include a 3/8 to 1/4 " adapter for free
Binos- Bino adapter with all sizing information is located HERE. The bottom of these bino mounts is Arca Swiss so it will mount directly to your ballhead or leveling head
