I went with the twist lock instead on the lever lock so that I didn't have to worry about potential variances between ARCA manufacturers. The ball head is smooth and easy to lock down making target acquisition a breeze.
The head hold the rifle very well. The fine and coarse knobs for tilt are a nice addition to fine tune your mounting for high stability or fast target transition. The pan knob is tight and locks in well, however I would like to see some kind of head "lock" to keep the head from turning off the tripod. Correction ** After Daniel saw this he did reach out and explain to me there was a set screw and walked me through how to do so. Customer service was 5 Stars. Would recommend

This dual tension head works perfectly for my purposes. I hunt with my tripod and using this head to switch quickly between Binos, spotter, and rifle is absolutely perfect. Locks up tight when it is tightened down, and moves smoothly when loosened up. Works well even when dirty or in rain. Perfectly stable for glassing and shooting off of.
This is a great ball head. The adjustments are easy and it locks up rock solid. The pan is nice and smooth as well.
Very smooth action and locks up very solid. Holds a 23lb. PRS rifle with ease with no movement on the recon tripod. Just wish it had a throw lever on it instead of a knob to tighten the arca rails, that would make it a little faster, that’s just my opinion
