This is a great product! I’ve used it with everything from my 25lb PRS rifle to my lightweight hunting rig. The movement is extremely smooth in all directions. The large handle to tighten the ball head took a little getting used to, compared to the knob on the smaller versions. All in all, this is a great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a ball head they can use on any type of rifle.
This head is ridiculously stable! Holds all my rifles (inlcuding my 25 lb .300 WinMag) with ease, yet is still easy to adjust. It's also perfect for my heavy spotting setup (caged spotting scope with Impact 400 and red dot), and the panning is nice and smooth. Love the combined ARCA/Pic attachment methods...In fact, I don't know why more companies don't do this...Not everything has ARCA! Anyway, great ball head, worth the money and then some; you won't be disappointed!
The big 65MM ballhead dual tension is great for bigger/heavy rifle use with great adjustability! Love this unit and the first class quality.
